Client Showcase - Arkansas Surgical
Arkansas Surgical Hospital in North Little Rock is one of the leading orthopedic and spine surgical hospitals in the state. Here’s how Ward Media Co. has helped support and grow their digital presence through strategic video content.
Behind the Scenes
How ASH does
Video
Every piece of footage we capture for Arkansas Surgical is created with longevity in mind. By shooting with an evergreen approach, we’re able to repurpose content across multiple videos, campaigns, and platforms without losing relevance—creating greater efficiency and long-term cost effectiveness.
Social Media Content
The primary focus of the content we create with Arkansas Surgical is social media. These videos are designed to showcase a day in the life of a surgeon, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the people and processes involved in patient care.
Surgery can feel intimidating for many, so this approach helps humanize the experience—bringing authenticity to the forefront and allowing patients to feel more comfortable and connected before they ever walk through the door.
Web Content
The secondary focus of this content is the creation of individual bio videos for each surgeon. Rather than highlighting the operating room itself, these videos focus on the people behind the practice—giving surgeons the opportunity to share their story, their values, and what led them into healthcare.
This approach allows for a more personal connection with patients, building trust and familiarity before they ever step into the room.
Recycled Content
Because of the volume of footage captured, we’re able to continuously repurpose b-roll for a variety of uses. One key application has been the creation of :30 television commercials for the hospital.
Using interviews and b-roll collected over the course of several years, we developed distinct commercials—each built from existing assets without the need for additional production.
The content we create for Arkansas Surgical also supports their PR efforts. Recently, KARK 4 in Little Rock featured the hospital in a segment highlighting its impact on the local community.
To support this, we repurposed existing “day in the life” content—re-editing it to meet broadcast guidelines and fit seamlessly within the news segment.
